Workshop Setup 

Weekend workshop makes your backyard or other outdoor space into a creative workshop for the day. We arrive with tools and equipment, and together we do the setup needed to build safely and efficiently.

Together we will set up a practical, organized workspace that allows everyone to take part in the build. Set up time is fast with an organized box to work bench fast set up systems. (A typical shop setup will take about 30 minutes with a group size of four)

Work Area

• Three 2'x5' workbenche stations

•  Hand tools

• Clamps, measuring tools, and layout equipment

Power Tools

• Drills and drivers

• Sanders

• Router

• Drill press

• Skill saws

• Fine cut tool

• Electric planer

• grinder

• and other power tools

Materials + Supplies

• Glues, fasteners, and fixings

• Basic hardware needed for the build

• Safety glasses, ear protection and masks

Larger tools

We bring the professional tools needed:

• Table saw

• Chop saw

• Cross cut saw

• Air compressor

• Nail guns (various types)

Comfort + Shelter

We also bring a shade canopy to create a comfortable working area and provide protection from the sun. This is a functioning workspace. It’s practical, a little dusty at times, and set up to get the job done. Everyone helps with setup and breakdown, and the space becomes a shared workshop for the day.

How It Flows

• Materials and tools stay organized in easy access points

• Cutting and heavier tools are set slightly apart for safety

• The main workbench area is where most of the group works together

• Assembly and finishing happen in the main workbench areas

• The canopy gives shade over the work benches
